SAFE ID Solutions Raises About $9.1M In First Round

SAFE ID Solutions AG, which provides hardware and software products for the
secure production of passports and other identification documents, has raised
EUR7 million ($9.1 million) in its first round of financing. The Munich-based
company, which was formed in November 2003, will use the new funds to further
its product development and expand internationally.
