Google Stock Shrugged Off Microsoft Meager Threat

Google's marketing department pulled off a slap in the face smothering of Microsoft's Beta Search Engine announcement.   So what if Microsoft indexed 4 billion pages, Google does twice better with 8 billion pages!    Google search engine has been around since 1999 and they weren't about to be phased by a "Beta" search engine from the innovation killer Microsoft.  Hats off to the marketing department of Google!
Google stock price traded up 9% and closed at $183.02, yet surged some more in afterhour to $184.98.
