Fabless Semiconductor Co. Frontier Silicon Raises $28M Round

Frontier Silicon, a fabless manufacturer of semiconductors for mobile digital
television and DAB digital radio products, has closed a $28 million investment
round. The company will use the proceeds to drive its market share in the mobile
digital television market as well as expand design centers for its mobile
digital television IC and software products. Frontier Silicon, founded in 2001,
previously raised an undisclosed amount in two funding rounds.
