Disease Management Co. Axial Biotech Raises $4.1M Series A

Axial Biotech, a disease management firm with a focus on the spinal disease
idiopathic scoliosis, said it had raised $4.1 million in Series A funding. Axial
wants the money to accelerate development of its lead products: minimally
invasive devices to treat a disease and genetics-based diagnostic and prognostic
tests for it.
