Ascent Venture Partners Closes $140M 4th Fund; Includes $80M SBIC Funds

Ascent Venture Partners said it has closed a $140 million fourth fund, securing
more than half of the capital from the Small Business Investment Company program
months before Congress voted to freeze all new SBIC commitments.
